All About Assets in Rapport
Breathe life into your projects with expressive characters, impactful audio, and compelling scripts.
Rapport’s Asset Library is your creative toolbox—housing everything you need to build rich, AI-driven experiences. From selecting ready-made characters to uploading your own audio and writing unique scripts, the Asset system is designed to be intuitive, powerful, and fast.
What Are Assets?
Assets are reusable elements that enhance your projects. Currently, Rapport supports:
Characters – The face and personality of your interaction
Audio – Voice clips and sound elements to add realism
Scripts – Dialogue or prompts that drive your AI's communication
All assets are organized under the Asset Library, which can be accessed from the top-level Workspace view.
Characters: Your Rapport Cast
Characters are essential to every AI experience—they bring expression, emotion, and personality.
Getting Started with Characters
Public Library – Access a diverse range of ready-made characters
Create Your Own – Use tools like Ready Player Me or import Metahumans
Tagging:
Library – Public, pre-built characters
Private – Custom characters created in your Workspace
When you create a new Workspace, your Asset Library will start empty. Add a character to begin building your first project—it’s your AI’s on-screen presence.

Searching for Characters
Use the search bar to quickly find the right character by name or tag. It’s a fast way to locate familiar faces or explore something new.
Audio: Set the Stage with Sound
Add energy and presence with sound effects or recorded voice lines.
Build Your Soundscape
Public Library – Browse a selection of reusable audio clips
Custom Uploads – Add your own audio files via the upload tool
Use audio for non-AI characters, intro/outro sound cues, or scripted voice responses. The Audio section works just like Characters—search, preview, and manage with ease.
Scripts: Drive Dialogue and Direction
Script assets give structure to your experience’s dialogue or system instructions.
Crafting Compelling Narratives
Public Library – Use sample scripts for quick onboarding or inspiration
Custom Scripts – Write your own responses, prompts, or scene directions directly in Rapport
Scripts can be paired with characters or triggered by certain interactions, making them a powerful tool for storytelling and interactivity.
