Rapport includes a direct integration with Ready Player Me (RPM)—a powerful character builder with an easy-to-use interface. This is the fastest and most compatible way to design characters for use in Rapport.

How to Create a Character in Rapport (Using RPM)

  1. Open the Asset Library

    Go to your Workspace > Assets > Characters

  2. Click "Create New Character"

  3. Choose "Launch Character Creator – Create with RPM"

  4. Design Your Character

    Use Ready Player Me’s intuitive tools to customize clothing, hair, face, and more.

  5. Finalize and Import

    • Click Next, then choose Continue without Sign-up (if applicable)

    • You'll be redirected back to Rapport

    • Name your character and click Save

Your new character appears under WebGL Assets in your workspace, ready for use in projects.

Note: Characters built outside of Rapport's integrated RPM workflow may not have compatible rigging. Using the built-in RPM tool is highly recommended for optimal results.

Advanced Character Options

Rapport supports more than just RPM. For users working with advanced tools or game engines, other character options are also available.

  • Other custom-built 3D models

Metahuman support is currently enabled via configuration files. Direct uploads through the UI will be available in a future release.
