Overview
Project Setup is where you bring everything together — your character, AI, language, voice, and branding — to create an interactive experience.
Rapport guides you through the process step by step with pre-configured templates, so you can go from idea to live interaction in minutes.

Start Here: Project Creation Flow
Go to your Workspace
(Your first Workspace is already created if you just signed up)Click Create New Project
Choose an Application Type:
Web Page (shareable hosted experience)
Web Widget (embed on your site)
Unreal (3D/game integration)
(Unity – Coming Soon)
Pick a Template
A default template is pre-selected for you, including:Character

AI Service
Layout
Configure Your Project
Project Setup is divided into these key steps:
Character – Choose who appears on screen
Language & Voice – Select from the Rapport Voice Pack
AI Service – Select which AI model powers your experience
Layout & Branding – Customise visuals, logos, and start messages
Controls – Choose how users interact
Advanced Settings – Fine-tune providers, prompts, and credentials (optional)
✅ Quick Start Option: Just leave the defaults as-is. Your project is fully functional with Rapport Services right out of the box.
Rapport Services & My Services
Rapport lets you connect AI, Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Speech-to-Text (STT) providers in two ways.

Bring Your Own Credentials (BYOC)
If you are a Workspace Admin, you can connect your own provider credentials:
Go to Workspace > My Services
Choose AI, TTS, or STT
Click Add New
Enter provider details and credentials
Save — your custom service is now available across all projects in this workspace

Configuring Services in Advanced Settings
You can switch services at any time:
Go to Project Setup > Advanced Settings
Open the AI, TTS, or STT tabs
Select an alternative Rapport Service OR pick from your My Services
Adjust editable fields like prompt, temperature, or language if needed
⚠️ Note: Switching AI services resets your template prompt — copy your custom prompt first if you want to reuse it.
