Rapport Quick Start Guide
Creating Projects with Rapport
Create a live, AI-powered character in minutes — no coding required
Start with a template, iterate in the live preview, and share when ready. Customisation can happen at any time. Steps below describe how:
Step 1: You’re Ready to Go
Sign up at rapport.cloud
Organisation and Workspace are created automatically
You land directly on the Template Grid
Step 2: Explore the Template Grid
Each card is a ready-to-use scenario (character, voice, AI, prompt)
Preview a template to see exactly what end users will experience
Save or Edit a template to turn it into your own project
Templates are organised by sector, scenario, and analytics type
💡 Some include Info Panels or Relativ AI Reports
Best for: Learning by example and starting with a working experience

Step 3: Create Your Project
Saving or editing a template opens Project Setup
Your selected template becomes a project in your Workspace
Use the project as-is, or customise character, voice, AI, or layout
Best for: Turning a template into your own experience

Step 4: (Optional) Developer Option
“For Software Developers” tile provides preconfigured projects for SDKs and integrations
Best for: Teams integrating Rapport into products or 3D environments
Step 5: Choose an Application Type
Select where your experience will live:
Web Page: standalone hosted experience → Best for: Fast demos, pilots, shareable links
Web Widget: embeddable component → Best for: Adding AI to your site or product
Unreal Plugin: real-time 3D → Best for: Training simulations, games, immersive experiences
Unity Plugin: real-time Unity integration → Best for: Unity-based AI-driven 3D experiences
Rapport instantly generates a ready-to-run environment for your selection.
💡 Not sure?

Step 6: Services Are Ready
Each project automatically uses Rapport’s default services
Default services are preconfigured: AI, STT, TTS
Workspace Admins can switch to custom providers later
Best for: Getting started without configuration
Step 7: Language & Voice
Language (STT): Sets the speech recognition and response language
Voice (TTS): Defaults to the Rapport Voice Pack, with multilingual and accented options
The default combination is ready immediately — customisation can come later.
Best for: Natural, multilingual conversations
Step 8: Preview & Interact
Every project opens with a live preview:
Enable mic and speakers
Speak or type a message
Watch your character respond (voice, lip-sync, expressions)
Changes appear instantly as you iterate.
Best for: Rapid testing and fine-tuning
Step 9: Share or Deploy
When you’re ready to show your experience:
Web Page: Share a hosted link
Web Widget: Embed on your site
Unreal Plugin: Integrate into Unreal Engine Rapport Unreal Plugin
Unity Plugin: Use the Unity Viewer Rapport Unity Viewer
💡 Quick win: Sharing a hosted link is the fastest way to demo or collect feedback.
