Deleting Assets in Rapport
All assets in Rapport — Characters, Audio, and Scripts — can only be deleted if they are not currently in use.
This protects live projects from breaking and ensures assets remain available where needed.
Who Can Delete Assets?
-
Workspace Admins ✅
-
Workspace Members ✅
-
Workspace Viewers ❌ (cannot delete)
Step 1: Check Asset Usage
Before deleting, confirm whether the asset is in use.
Example: Deleting a Character
-
Go to Workspace > Assets > Characters
-
Click the character you want to remove
-
In the Usage section, check for any projects referencing it
-
If the character is still in use → ❌ deletion is blocked
-
If no projects reference it → ✅ you can proceed
The same check applies for Audio and Scripts via their respective tabs.
Step 2: Delete an Unused Asset
-
In the asset details panel, click Delete
-
A confirmation window will appear
-
Click Delete to confirm
Once confirmed:
-
The asset is permanently removed from your Workspace and Asset Library
-
You’ll return to the relevant Assets list with the item removed

-
Keep assets if you might reuse them later instead of deleting
-
Only delete when certain it won’t affect active projects
