Asset: Creating and Editing.
Assets are the building blocks of your interactive experiences in Rapport. The platform provides a consistent, intuitive interface for creating and managing Characters, Audio, and Scripts — making it simple to bring your content to life.
Creating Assets
All asset types can be created from within the Asset Library in your Workspace.
Creating a Custom Audio Asset
Go to Workspace > Asset Library
Click Create Audio Asset
Enter a name for the asset
Upload your audio file
(Optional) Add a transcript for accessibility or reference
Click Save Changes
Your audio asset will now appear in your library and can be used in any project within the workspace.
Creating a Custom Script Asset
Go to Workspace > Asset Library
Click Create Script Asset
Enter a name for the asset
Enter your script text
Click Save Changes
Scripts can be edited later and are useful for prompts, instructions, or AI dialogue.
Creating a Custom Character
Character creation includes additional configuration such as animation and visual style.

Editing Assets
To edit an existing asset:
Go to Workspace > Asset Library
Click on the asset you want to update
Make changes to its name, file, text, or metadata
Click Save Changes
Edits are automatically reflected across all projects using that asset.
Deleting Assets
To keep the documentation clean and consistent, we’ve separated deletion into its own page.
