What are Services?

Overview

In Rapport, Services connect your projects to AI, Speech-to-Text (STT), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) providers — powering how your characters listen, think, and speak.

They make setup simple for beginners while giving enterprises the flexibility to bring their own credentials when needed.

You’ll encounter Services when selecting AI, STT, or TTS in Project Setup, and in Advanced Settings.

Two Types of Services

Rapport Services

Preconfigured and ready-to-go.

No accounts or API keys required — perfect for first-time users or rapid prototyping.

Rapport Services include:

• AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Groq)

• Text-to-Speech providers (Rapport Voice Pack and supported providers)

• Speech-to-Text providers (preconfigured STT options available per tier)

My Services

Bring Your Own Credentials (BYOC).

Set up at the Workspace level by an Admin.
Credentials are encrypted, reusable across all projects in the same Workspace, and ideal for enterprise or compliance needs.

Use My Services when you need:

• Specific AI models, voices, or providers

• Compliance and billing control

• Custom integrations not included by default
