Character: The Face of Your Experience

Select, customize, or create a character to represent your AI in every interaction.

Every great AI experience starts with a great character. Whether you're aiming for playful, professional, or something truly unique, the Character section in the Project Setup menu gives you the flexibility to choose or create the perfect visual identity for your project.

Where to Find It

In the left-hand menu of your project screen, click on Character.

Here, you’ll find a visual panel with the characters available in your workspace, separated into tabs:

• My Characters – Characters created by you or your team

• Public Characters – Pre-built characters provided by Rapport, available for immediate use

How to Use the Character Panel

The character selection interface is:

• Scrollable – Browse through your full character list with ease

• Searchable – Use the search bar to find a specific character by name

• Interactive – Click to select and apply a character to your project instantly

You can preview a character's appearance before making it part of your AI experience.

Creating Your Own Character

Want to build something original? Just click the + Create new Character button at the bottom of the panel.

Rapport supports multiple creation tools and workflows—including Ready Player Me, Metahumans, and more advanced integrations.
